  • Supporting Nurses - Macmillan Cancer Support has provided eduation and funding to support new and existing nurse posts working within cancer services.
  • Lead GP for Cancer Services - Macmillan Cancer Support has provided funding for this three year post, which supports local GP services in improving the care of people affected by cancer.
  • Macmillan Grants - people affected by cancer can apply for a one-off Macmillan Grant to help cover the costs of practical things. During 2006, over £11,000 was paid out to people affected by cancer on the Isle of Man. For more information on Macmillan Grants, click here.
  • Literature - Macmillan Cancer Support produces a wide range of information for people affected by cancer, which is available through the Macmillan Cancer Information Centre, health professionals, and direct from Macmillan Cancer Support.
